Willow Beach Lake was an unexpected discovery as we set off in the east direction from Little Rock with our kayaks loaded and hoping to find a nice spot to get on some water. Beautiful serene spot very near the Arkansas River and not far from Toltec Mounds. After tootling around the quiet lake for a good while, we drove to the nearby campground overlooking the river and relaxed in our hammocks.
